About the
Grand Prix
Emoji Grand Prix is a free, public entertainment experiment. Emoji characters race each day, TikTok viewers bet virtual coins on their favourite, and a live leaderboard tracks who has the best eye for a winner. No real money. No accounts. Just pick your emoji and cheer.
🏁 The races
Every day a new race is generated, rendered as a video, and posted to TikTok. Each race is part of an ongoing tournament that spans exactly 50 races. The emoji with the most first-place finishes across those 50 races wins the tournament, then a new one begins.
Race physics are driven by three attributes per emoji — speed, breath, and weight — plus a healthy dose of randomness. No outcome is guaranteed.
💬 Placing a bet
Reply to the TikTok video for that race with:
Replace the amount and emoji with your own choice. Only top-level comments count — replies to other comments are ignored. If you comment multiple times, only your highest bid for that race is kept.
🪙 Virtual currency
- Your account is created automatically the first time you place a bet. There is no sign-up, no email, and no password.
- Every new account starts with 50 coins. Coins are entirely virtual — they have no monetary value whatsoever.
- Your balance will never drop below 1 coin. No matter how many races you lose, you can always place a new bet.
- Your bet history, current balance, and potential payout are visible to everyone on the dashboard — no login required to view.
- All figures on the dashboard are refreshed every hour after the bot processes the latest comments.
🔒 What we collect
- Only your public TikTok username and the text of your comment are stored — exactly what is already visible to anyone on TikTok.
- No passwords, emails, phone numbers, or private profile data are collected at any point.
- All stored data is publicly accessible through this dashboard. There are no private records.
Can I win real money?
No. Coins are a made-up score that exists only within this game. They cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for anything of value.
What if I miss a race?
Missed races do not affect your balance. You only spend coins on races where you actively placed a bet.
How are odds calculated?
Odds are parimutuel: the full prize pool divided by the total amount bet on one emoji. Heavier betting on an emoji lowers its payout multiplier.
Who builds this?
A personal project. The race engine, bot, and dashboard are all custom-built. If something is broken, it is probably being fixed.
